At least once a week when I get to drop by to get my mail,
I look at the paper recycling bins full of advertising material and found near every post office.
As part of my regular learning I read almost every piece of advertising material I receive,
and tries to understand what condemns him to life and what sends him to the recycling bin.
I recommend you try this technique of looking at advertising material and doing a quick analysis
of what you liked or didn't like in that advertisement - works in any advertising media and is worth trying.
And I have a few points that I saw fit to share with you.
The reason advertising goes to waste is that people didn't understand what the advertiser wanted from them.
The reasons for this: not understanding the audience in depth, an old-fashioned message that speaks to the whole world like a herd, an image that is not attractive or focused,
Lack of a clear motivation for action or lack of a clear goal for the publication itself!
Before approaching to write or think it is very important to define what the purpose of your publication is, from there we will get to the character
The message, the idea, the appeal to the client...if the goal is clear to us, it will be clear to him as well.
I want to ask an important question, what is your publication supposed to do and why is it going live?
What would we like to achieve?
direct sale
Generate inquiries from interested customers
Get the client to look for us online
Direct a customer to make a telephone contact for more information
Create awareness or image for our brand
Inform existing customers about something new with us or a change
Advertising's job is to ask every possible question before embarking on any campaign.
Every question we ask ourselves will create more and more clarifications about the nature of advertising.
From there the path to something that will attract the customer's attention is clearer and more precise And less advertising material that goes to waste.
